C0MMUNIQUE : APPOINTMENT OF NEW DIOCESAN YOUTH CHAPLAIN

To: All Youth of the Diocese
We are pleased to inform you that the Diocesan Youth Office has received a letter from our Bishop, Most Rev. Peter Kwaku Atuahene, appointing Rev. Fr. Lawrence Adu-Gyamfi as the new Chaplain for the Diocesan Youth Council, effective immediately.
Rev. Fr. Lawrence Adu-Gyamfi takes over from Rev. Fr. Martin Yaw Adjei, who has been relieved of his duties as Chaplain and Director of the Pontifical Missionary Society (PMS) upon his appointment as Vice Principal of St. Joseph's College of Education.
We express our heartfelt gratitude to Rev. Fr. Martin Yaw Adjei for his dedicated service and guidance to the youth over the past ten years. His contributions will not be forgotten.
Rev. Fr. Lawrence Adu-Gyamfi is no stranger to the Diocesan Youth Council, having worked closely with the youth during our participation in the 4th Ghanaian version of World Youth Day (WYD) in Dormaa and Sunyani. He has also represented the Youth Chaplain at various events, including the Kumasi Ecclesiastical Provincial Study Session in Techiman Diocese and the recent Diocesan Chaplains and Full-Timers Forum in Kumasi.
While Fr. Martin still holds the vocations office, Fr. Lawrence also doubles as the director of communications (DEPSOCOM)
We warmly welcome Rev. Fr. Lawrence Adu-Gyamfi to his new role and look forward to his leadership and guidance. We pray for God's blessings and wisdom upon him as he undertakes this new responsibility.
May God bless our Diocese and its youth.

Sincerely,
(Asamoah Twumasi Vondee)
Diocesan Youth Ag. Chairman
