It is with great joy and immense pride that we extend our heartfelt congratulations to our dear brother, Rev. Fr. Dr. Joseph Donkor, on the remarkable achievement of earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Catholic Education from St. Mary's University, Twickenham, London.
Fr. Donkor successfully defended his doctoral thesis and was awarded the degree on the morning of Saturday, July 19, 2025, marking a significant milestone in his academic and pastoral journey. His dedication to the intellectual and spiritual formation of the faithful, especially in the field of Catholic Education, is both admirable and inspiring.
This achievement not only highlights his personal commitment to excellence but also enriches the Church’s mission of evangelization through quality education. As a priest deeply rooted in pastoral ministry and now academically fortified in Catholic pedagogy, Fr. Donkor is well-positioned to contribute meaningfully to the Church’s educational apostolate both locally and internationally.
The special occasion was graced by the presence of the Vicar General of the Goaso Diocese, Monsignor Matthew Kwaku Addai, Rev. Fr. Jonas Opoku Gyamfi,a priest from our diocese but currently working in the UK and some friends who joined him in celebrating this academic feat with prayer, fraternal support, and joy. Their presence was a beautiful testament to the unity and brotherhood within the presbyterium.
We rejoice with him on this accomplishment and pray that the Lord will continue to guide and bless his ministry, as he uses this academic feat to serve the Church with renewed insight and zeal.
