The Catholic Diocese of Goaso has joyfully ordained six candidates to the Order of the Diaconate during a solemn Eucharistic celebration held on Friday, 10th January 2026, at Duayaw Nkwanta, as part of the Catholic Women Association (CWA) Annual Congress.
The ordination ceremony was presided over by the Bishop of Goaso Diocese, Most Rev. Peter Kwaku Atuahene, and was concelebrated by many priests. Present also were a number religious men and women, traditional rulers (Nananom), parishioners, and CWA delegates from across the diocese.

In his homily, Bishop Atuahene outlined the sacred responsibilities of ordained ministry and charged the newly ordained to serve with humility, commitment, and total reliance on God for strength and perseverance.
The celebration was marked by prayer, joy, and gratitude to God for the continued growth of vocations in the Goaso Diocese.
